Did you know there are approximately 30,000 Americans living with Cystic Fibrosis? They are moms, dads, sisters, brothers, daughters, sons, friends, and co-workers who struggle every day just to breathe. Currently, there is no cure for this rare, genetic disease.
The Great Strides Cystic Fibrosis Foundation wants to change that.
Each year they host a fundraiser 5k to raise money to help accelerate innovative research and drug development, as well as advance care and advocacy. Each year, more than 125,000 people participate in over 400 walks across the country to support the Foundation™s mission to cure cystic fibrosis and raise awareness about this rare, genetic, life-shortening disease.
