Tethered Rides
Tickets are first-come, first-served and are only sold on-site (cash and card accepted). All ballooning activities are weather permitting.
Join us for a three-day, fun-filled experience from January 30 through February 1, 2026! This event will be held at the West Valley Events Complex in Glendale, Arizona.
Rainbow Ryders’ tethered balloon rides are sold on site. Rides last around 10 minutes, go about 50 feet in the air, and are $30 per adult and $20 per child. They are a great introduction to ballooning and a beautiful way to view the launches and glows at the event.
About the Festival
The Arizona Balloon Festival brings colorful hot air balloons, live music, and family attractions to Glendale, which is just outside Phoenix, Arizona. Some things visitors can watch and participate in at this event are:
- Early morning launches with 15+ balloons
- Tethered balloon rides
- Dazzling nighttime balloon glows
- A Family Kids Zone
The festival combines outdoor adventure with community celebration, creating an exciting weekend of desert sky spectacles.Â
