Fulfill your bucket list with a true one-of-a-kind experience. Our flight team launches spectacular sunrise flights in Park City, UT every day (weather permitting) June – September, lifting into the air just after the sun comes up.
Meet your flight team at the beautiful Black Rock Mountain Resort, centrally located near Park City, UT. Before the adventure begins, the pilots are choosing the best launch site for the conditions that day. From there, we will shuttle you to that site where you can enjoy the magic of our gentle giants coming to life. Experience views of Park City Mountain and Utah’s Olympic Park like never before with an estimated one-hour balloon flight.
You can plan on being back at the resort a total of 3 hours from the meeting time. Bring your family and friends, and don’t forget your camera; you’ll want to share your pictures with everyone!

Over our 40+ years of operation, Rainbow Ryders has had the honor of being part of some of the world’s largest and most celebrated hot air balloon festivals. Three events that we are the official ride operator of are:

Where the Journey Starts
To start your hot air ballooning journey, meet the Rainbow Ryders team just outside of Park City in the lobby of Black Rock Mountain Resort, located at 909 W Peace Tree Trail, Heber City, UT 84032, so you can be taken to the spacious launch site nearby. The resort can be conveniently accessed via State Route 248, which is also known as Kearns Boulevard, after exiting from U.S. Route 189 or Browns Canyon Rd. Thanks to this convenient rallying point in Heber City, guests are able to visit from near and far, often coming from places like Midway, Salt Lake City, Provo, and Ogden.
